Hello, my name is Rixt Kuiper.
I coach managers and executives in the art of building effective relationships, feeling more at home in leadership roles and broadening their influence. I also help steer professionals toward more peace of mind, inspiration and balance within their daily routines. Through one-on-one coaching, group training, or e-coaching, my clients enhance their performance and sustainably enrich their lives.
My coaching style is personal, fundamental and pragmatic.
With a unique combination of organizational and human insight, enthusiasm, directness and professional empathy, my clients make steady progress toward their goals and realize the joy of achieving them.
Professional and personal development goes hand-in-hand.
I’m also a published author.
My CD about stress relief in work-related situations is popular in Europe, ranking fifth on the Thema best-seller list.
I wrote my latest book, What color is the wind? Transforming your professional life through coaching & meditation [LINK to book offering], to help today’s global business professionals achieve greater success and insight through the practice of meditation. Its chapters are peppered with personal stories, backed up with scientific facts, and include simple meditation exercises that anyone can use right away.
Education and experience.
Born and raised in the Netherlands, Europe, I studied in Scotland at University of Strathclyde, Glasgow; my BA is in Speech Therapy. I am Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®-qualified (MBTI®) as well as a certified, personal-effectiveness trainer, having received my education in coaching from New York University. Additionally, I have a certification in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) from the Albert Ellis Institute (AEI) in New York City. I am also certified as a cross-cultural trainer.
I founded my coaching business in 2003, not long after moving to the U.S. from the Netherlands. After four successful years in the States working with executives from around the world, my family relocated to Hong Kong in 2007 where I continued to grow my business from the heart of Asia.
In 2010, we moved back “home” to the Netherlands.
Living and working on three continents has shaped me both personally and professionally. Having worked with clients from Australia, Canada, China, Europe, India, and the U.S., I adapt easily to different cultures and enjoy being a global citizen.
I enjoy spending my spare time with my husband and three children, as well as traveling to new places, practicing Yoga, running, playing piano, and scuba diving. I’ve been dancing since my early childhood and it is still my favorite pastime.
